Foodaholic's Anonymous - Week 13

Hey Everyone! My name is Victoria and I am a foodaholic!

My apologies to all of my co-foodies out there as it has been a while since I checked in. It has been a week full of temptations and writer's block.

To celebrate the team, the bosses brought in goodies last week (week 12). Candies, energy drinks, and lots & lots of sugar! It was not easy to resist. No bites. No tastes. No licks.

I will be honest with you all - I did touch - but only to bring some to my dad for him to enjoy.

Staying true to Program worked out in the end because at the end of Week 12 I was down 3 pounds!

Of course, the candy didn't disappear at the end of the week. The first day back at work after a legal weekend and the candy is still there. This time, there are blueberry muffins that were brought in.

I wish I could stay I stayed strong. I should have talked to you all sooner - because I slipped. I had a blueberry muffin.

I had convinced myself that it was just a little muffin. A little muffin couldn't do much harm, now could it? Well, people - it might not add to your waistline but it certainly can do harm. My stomach was all knotted up and cramping as my body did not remember how to produce sugars.

At the end of the week, I was still down (2 pounds to be exact) but even with the loss, I have no desire to eat off program again!

The day to day life of being on Program is something we can only do ourselves - we have to be the ones to make the right choices and measure our foods. The obstacles we encounter, however, is something that we should handle with the support of others. When the temptations start to get to you - remember to call your Commitment Buddy!

I know I should have!
