Hey Everyone! My name is Victoria and I am a foodaholic. Over the past two weeks, I did a little self-study.
For those of you who know Program and have heard the behavior modifications may be like me and are skeptical when it comes to the rules. Even though I am a foodaholic, the hardest behavior modification for me is eating all of my layaways. Especially fruits and milks.
Additionally, I was also told that I was eating too many foods that were high in salts such as hot dogs and kielbasa. (Regardless of the fact that the package said low sodium - it still was a lot!)
I also wasn't making as much time to walk during the day nor at night.
So after week 15's weigh-in and losing just one little pound, I decided to push myself.
Week 16 my goal was to eat all of my layaways and walk everyday.
It was harder than I expected to eat everything! On days where I worked late, eating dinner was daunting. Especially when I had planned 6 oz of chicken and 4oz of potato plus salad. I also had 12oz of cantaloupe left and a milk to eat! I just wanted to skip it all and go to bed. But I pushed through and then didn't sleep all night but that is a separate issue!
I also made time to walk every day for at least 20 minutes. Sometimes it was at work and other times it was in the evening. Honestly, I think it was hotter in the evening than it was during the day!
I even cut out salty foods and changed up my dinner plans! Having the variety also made it easier to eat everything as there were times I was looking forward to cooking dinner. I even broke out the George Forman!
At the end of the week and my impromptu self-study, I was down 4 pounds!
Despite my skepticism, Dianne and Tracy (lecturers at Thin's In) were right. Eat all your food groups and exercise every day and the pounds can melt away!
