Foodaholic's Anonymous - Week 11

Hey everyone! Sorry I missed last week's meeting. It was one of those weeks you know? Anyways, my name is Victoria and I am a Foodaholic!

So last week (week 10) was a normal week, especially after my midweek post. Nothing really special or out of the ordinary happened, especially over that weekend. The best part was one my Week 10 weigh-in I was down three pounds!

Then week 11 started...work was crazy! The food was crazier!

I somehow got volunteered to be part of the guinea pigs to test the new service standards for our outdoor outlets at work. The food was amazing just not Thin's In friendly. I did my best with what I had to offer.

The first day of mock service, we tasted the new walk-up breakfast menu. It was delicious just sort of fast-food style. I did get the fresh fruit plate over the frosted cinnamon bun - small victories, right? The croissant for the breakfast sandwich was probably more like 3 breads rather than the 2 breads I counted it as though.

Day two of mock service, I was seated with my new boss, plus a friend and another colleague. All of these lovely ladies are thin, tiny women who can eat anything and not gain an ounce. Super jealous! I ordered a cold lobster roll which delicious and Thin's In friendly as it was not overly sauced and I didn't eat the roll. However, the braised rib sandwich that I ended up giving half of half my lobster away might not have been as friendly. Nor was the Nutella and banana dessert that my boss surprised our table with! Thankfully, we are not allowed to drink alcohol during work hours or my strength to not eat everything in sight might have been weakened!

Dinner that night came from a lobster-based food truck. Amazing menu items! I enjoyed some tater tots (which is legal for 4 oz off the Pick-n-Chews menu) and the lobster and tomatoes from the tacos. I did not eat the tortillas. Sounds pretty safe right? Well, the two beers probably weren't!

Then the weekend came...and brought with it pulled pork and ribs and shrimp and tuna and so much food! I'll admit, there were some nibbles here and there. Mostly on proteins and veggies. Occasionally on a cookie or Buckeye.

The upside of all of these amazing meals was that I did my best to stay legal and healthy and make good choices. I also made sure that the other 4 days of the week I stayed legal and exercised when I could.

So, at the end of my week, when I weighed in, I lost 2 1/2 pounds bringing my total weight loss to 32 pounds!
